1. The service
AI Code Verify is an independent project that publishes a browser-based code-snippet checker and guides about reviewing code. The current checker provides selected syntax and fixed-rule static diagnostics for JavaScript, TypeScript and Python. There are no paid subscriptions, user accounts, repository integrations or AI model review requests in this release.
The service is intended to support your own engineering judgment. Descriptions of broader verification workflows or third-party tools do not mean those capabilities are included in this checker. The published scope and rule list explains what is enabled.
2. Permission to use your input
Use code that you are permitted to inspect with this tool. You retain ownership and applicable rights in your input and any reports you download. Pasting a snippet does not transfer its copyright to AI Code Verify.
The checker processes input locally in your browser. It does not upload that input or publish a hosted report. You are responsible for any later email, screenshot, downloaded file, backup or sharing that you initiate. Remove credentials and sensitive information before sending an example through the separate contact channel.
3. Results and their limits
Findings identify potential issues within the selected rules and supplied snippet. They may be incomplete, inaccurate or dependent on omitted context. No findings does not prove that a program is correct, secure, compliant, free of vulnerabilities or ready for production.
The checker does not execute your program, run its tests, install dependencies, resolve a repository, perform full TypeScript type checking or determine AI authorship. A parser error, engine-loading failure or timeout must not be treated as a successful review. Python’s Ruff engine can respect inline suppression comments such as # noqa.
Before relying on a finding or a proposed change, inspect the original requirements and surrounding code, verify important behavior and run appropriate independent checks in an environment you control. The site does not provide a professional security audit or a certification of your software.
4. Responsible use
- Respect the intellectual property, confidentiality and access rights associated with code or other material you use.
- Do not use the site to distribute malicious content, misrepresent a report as a guarantee, impersonate the project or falsely suggest endorsement.
- Do not interfere with the website or its delivery infrastructure, attempt unauthorized access, or use automated requests that disrupt availability.
- Do not send live credentials, private customer records or sensitive personal information through email when a synthetic example will explain the issue.
Local analysis of a code sample does not authorize execution of that sample against someone else’s systems. The tool provides no permission to access a repository, service or dataset.
5. Site material and third-party components
AI Code Verify publishes original explanations and interface material under its project name. You may link to the site and identify the source when discussing it. Reuse must respect the applicable copyrights, licenses and attribution requirements; a downloadable checker report does not grant rights in code owned by someone else.
Babel, Ruff and other dependencies retain their own licenses. Vendor names, trademarks and external documentation belong to their respective owners. A link or product mention does not imply a partnership, endorsement or independently verified performance ranking.
6. Availability and changes
The site is provided as available. We may update rules, correct content, change limits or pause a feature as the project evolves. Browser compatibility, network delivery, analyzer loading and device resources can affect whether a check completes. There is no commitment to uninterrupted service or a particular response time.
Keep your own copy of work you need. Snippets and reports are held in page memory and may be lost when you clear, reload or leave the page. Withdrawing permission after optional analytics has loaded refreshes the page and also clears unsaved work. Reports you download remain under your control.
7. Privacy and external services
The privacy notice describes local code processing, hosting and asset requests, analytics choices and contact email. Optional analytics requires your permission. External sites and services have their own terms and privacy practices.
8. Questions and updates
Questions or correction requests can be sent to [email protected]. An email does not automatically create a consulting, support or confidential code-review engagement. See Contact for information that helps investigate a report.
Material changes to these terms will be reflected in this page and its update date. No legal entity name, professional status or specific governing jurisdiction is implied by the AI Code Verify project byline.
